    They did the Southport - Leeds service sometimes, I have seen photos of them at Southport, another place I have never seen a 158 would be Hooton / Ellesmere Port other DMU classes but not a 158

    In Australia, you have Canberra - Yass Junction, to get there by train you have to get from Canberra to Goulburn and then wait there for one of the XPTs which go to Melbourne and arrive in Yass around 11.30 in the morning or after midnight!

    Birkenhead Central - Conway Park, can be walked pretty easily or if done by train you have to change at Hamilton Square or on the Liverpool Loop.

    Historic station name changes

    In my former local area, Bebington & New Ferry changed simply to Bebington. However geographically the current Liverpool bound platform is located in Bebington and the Chester / Ellesmere Port Platform (former island) is located in New Ferry.

    Trivia: Overlapping station names

    On Merseyrail on the Wirral there is Bromborough to Bromborough Rake & Birkenhead Park to Birkenhead North (& if Conway Park got it's planned name of Birkenhead Market, that would be 3 stations in a row with Birkenhead!)
