I don't think this is entirely correct it seems to suggest the aberdare to city line trains will loop when I believe they'll actually reverse at Cardiff Central. That would mean the Merthyr's reversing also. They might as well join up the route.

The few times I have used it, Clacton is a bit like that too. Mind you, once I was just in time to catch an hourly service as passengers were still going through the barrier!

Slightly off topic, on the Jubilee line you have West Ham to West Hampstead.

Clacton do it sometimes. I thought I was going to miss a once an hour service and was relieved when people were still being held!

OK, how many model railways are there in GB!? You are such a pedantic lot on this forum. When somebody says "We are running more services than ever before" or some such, where are the statistics to prove it?

I obviously did not myself clear. Is it possible to study all the timetables to work out how many different trains are running at a particular time? Has anybody tried?

How many trainsets are in service anywhere on the island of Great Britain at say 1200hrs on a Monday?
