They have not started. 150220 has had some prototype modifications, the full details of which I can't recall but include some in-cab screens (which are not in use and have I think been covered over).

All twelve 331/1s (4-car units) are said to be being based at Neville Hill for use between Leeds - Bradford/Ilkley/Skipton. When platform lengthening works on the electrified routes in and around Leeds are completed (perhaps by 2021!) these should be getting replaced by some if the 3-car 331s.
