The answer, in this case, is that the train was originally planned to use a different platform - 4 - at Cannon Street MTWO. That was changed just before the timetable started. See http://charlwoodhouse.co.uk/rail/livetrain/$28389760 for the deleted schedule.

That train is showing OK in my version of the database, I don't know who is right. So far this year it has run 8 times, and was cancelled on 7 and 14 January, and 18 March.

If you can specify the date and service, I'll have a look at my timetable database to see what it says. RTT does get things wrong, but only very rarely.

Every weekday from Huyton we have 1F07 1410 to Liverpool Lime Street (non stop) and 2F13 1410 to Liverpool Lime Street (all stations) Considering we only get two or three services an hour it's a bit annoying to have them so close together, especially as the third is only 13 minutes later.
