Cheltenham - Liverpool Lime Street Monday Mornings

Oo excellent, hadn't considered central. That should sort it, thanks! All I got from XC was "apologies" which works well for them when they make £70 out of it...

Cheltenham - Liverpool Lime Street Monday Mornings

Starting on the 25th Sept I need to make four journeys from Cheltenham to Liverpool, arriving around 12:15 on the Monday and departing at 15:00ish on the Friday. On the first Monday this is fine as I can do some combo of off-peak and super off-peak splitting at Birmingham, but after that I...

    Trivia: Quietest service?

Never saw a single passenger on the occasional Swindon to Gloucester non-stop late service via Bristol and Chepstow. Can't imagine why :D.

    Bristol to Gatwick overnight advance

I want to travel from Bristol to Gatwick on an advance ticket (via Slough)- the last train at 22:30 for a 7am flight. I have somewhere to stay for a few hours - but I can't work out if the Victoria to Gatwick part is reserved, could anyone help? As I would rather not get to Gatwick asap, which...

Burnage to London via Manchester Picc didn't realise Burnage not a Manchester Station

Instead of complaining would it not be easier to tweet a tabloid about how you are being charged £80 for having the same price ticket as the one you were supposed to? Or ar Northern not as bothered about such publicity :p

December 2015 Cotswold Line timetable changes

I don't  would probably require electrification. Just with the relative proximity and the size of Worcester it isn't great (compared to the Worcester-London issue anyway).

December 2015 Cotswold Line timetable changes

Worcester needs a better service to Birmingham first anyway, it's slower and less frequent than from Cheltenham.

    Flitwick to Bristol 27th Dec

Thinking about it via Leicester is quicker so maybe that's why it's showing that instead.

    Flitwick to Bristol 27th Dec

Oh right cheers. Gwr was giving me three trains via Waterloo then Salisbury and some greyed out ones via Leicester...despite direct trains from Waterloo?!

    Flitwick to Bristol 27th Dec

I want to use a return portion of a Super off-peak return from Bristol to Flitwick just after Christmas. The GWR journey planner is offering no valid journeys on the 27th from Flitwick to Bristol between 10:30 and 16:30, as the suggested trains are via Leicester and Birmingham. This latter...

Trains and the Rugby World Cup

Apparently some intermediate stops have been cancelled, so it's impossible to get back to Swindon tonight and other places? That's awful really.

Trains and the Rugby World Cup

The valley lines are pretty separate though and there isn't thousands of Irish people up there, which I think was the main problem yesterday. What route were the loco hauled trains doing yesterday? Saw an 11 carriage mixture around about 12 at Central. Some of the interiors looked quite modern!
