You are still not getting this are you..... There are some 40 Sundays between now and end of year. Those Sundays will see thousand's of cancellations on Northern services on the west side of the Pennines because conductors are not volunteering to work overtime....which they are perfectly...

You seem to have a problem accepting a basic fact. That fact is if a conductor is not available for a particular service run by Northern, then that service will be cancelled. This is.a regular problem on Sundays as staff are quite rightly having a day off. No amount of you posting waffle on...

As I'm privy to internal Northern documents, it' doesn't mean that an increase in staff numbers is what is required to cover Sundays inside......an alternative way of doing that is to simply increase the contract hours of the existing staff. That is the cheaper option, and in fact is a proposal...

The question is " are there any train drivers earning £100k or more ". The answer is yes.....but they have to work some quite significant amounts of overtime to get that figure. Most don't bother as they want a decent work/home life balance, which isn't particularly easy when you work the sort...
