Was surprised today to catch a Waterloo to Shepperton via Richmond train on a Saturday when they don’t normally run. Don’t seem to be in the published timetable. Is this an extra service for Twickenham rugby match days?

The first train westbound from Peterborough on Sundays is as 1154 and even later for stations further west. Anyone know why there is no earlier train? Is it to do with the location of the Cross Country depot or signalling box opening hours?
