Indeed, the recruited internally firstly, then a Qualified advert then when that closed this current advert. From what I've heard a fair few from a range of TOCs got knocked back...only LUMO will know what that's the case

Incorrect, there are a good number of Ex Metro and Qualified Drivers at LUMO who were recruited. Given its an extra from Dec and an extension to Glasgow (Potentially) I belive they require more than 3 however some have already been recruited internally and 1 or 2 qualified positions already...

I believe towards the end of the year. Currently there's no aspiration to extend it further due to the ECDP as they are not compatible

Your more looking around the £64-£65k Mark for a Qualified driver for LUMO. Unsure if there is an incremental structure for apprenticeship

The only reason why Voyagers don't go to Sunderland is because Drivers are not signed on that Traction. I believe there has been a similar thread to this previously where it was mentioned 221s can go via Durham Coast. As for XC I can not comment however I'd imagine it's to do with Traincrew...

Possibly a picky approach for what ever reason. I've heard a fair few have applied this time round but also not forgetting ex DB and Freightliner are looking for employment. All in all I've heard a few from TPE, Northern and GC collectively have applied. Makes you wonder.
