Northern Rail's documentation is rubbished on BBC Radio 4

Be under no illusion - it'll most certainly show up in a standard search on the PNC. I doubt it, just because something isn't disclosed doesn't mean it's not there. Depends very much on the force involved etc.

Northern Rail's documentation is rubbished on BBC Radio 4

Incorrect. All arrests, convictions, non-convictions, etc going back to day dot. There is even reference to microfiche records.

Summons for failing to submit a rail ticket??

Bit of a moot point as TfL don't have any say over where they are ranked on Google nor it's content in general. I appreciate that the there is a duff link on the visitor shop site but it's probably likely that no one's told them...

Summons for failing to submit a rail ticket??

Took me three clicks to find http://www.tfl.gov.uk/fares-and-payments/travel-for-under-18s/travelling-with-children?intcmp=25255 with a map link that works fine.

The way some passengers who have made mistakes are treated

Well I did provide a one line summary in my initial post. Basically, enforcement is centralised into some sort of national unit run under DoT or something similar. This unit becomes responsible for revenue blocks, random and intelligence led checks etc. When a customer is found to have...

The way some passengers who have made mistakes are treated

Because that's how the bus schemes work. Operators are responsible for the collection of revenue. If there's a persistent issue of fair evasion on a service then the operator will be "supportively" held to account.

The way some passengers who have made mistakes are treated

Because depending on the type of offence they would be apportioned some element of blame.

The way some passengers who have made mistakes are treated

Maybe it's necessary to go over to national enforcement teams - similar to how London Buses revenue teams work. Would also kick the TOCs up the bum and get them to sort out their ticketing as they would be getting penalised for each incident...

Northern Rail fare dispute initial contact lettet

Incorrect - please refer to SOCAPA 2005. Special constables now enjoy the same powers and privileges as their regular colleagues. Either way - challenging the authority of a constable of any authorised person isn't going to go down too well. Also note that EVERYONE has the power of arrest...

Every Tube ticket office to close

And that the trains actually turn up now :p

Every Tube ticket office to close

That was what my comment intended to say. Something stated corporately by TfL holds fair weight compared to the buffoon...

Every Tube ticket office to close

There's a massive difference between closing ticket officers and removing staff from stations. Has TfL ever said they won't close ticket offices or was it a Boris promise?

Every Tube ticket office to close

Aside from all this scaremongering - have TfL or LU stated that stations will be unstaffed?

    Hazard Lights

Lamps on vehicles are strictly controlled by law. Nothing is allowed to flash barring the indicators/hazard lights which must blink steadily within a specified range. There are also restrictions on what colour lamp can be displayed from where. This is of course excludes warning beacons...

Revenue protection took my details - Unstaffed station

Any idea where I can find this? The only similar thing I can find is the last page of http://www.londontravelwatch.org.uk/documents/get_lob?id=3340&age=&field=file which sounds pretty sensible to me. Either way I would suggest that it has no bearing on a subsequent prosecution and would...

Why can't the TFL journey planner handle addresses better?

The old journey planner is still available at http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/. At one point they were using Google's Place Autocomplete which was vastly superior but probably a tad expensive for the volume of traffic they handle...

    Leicester Square Picc Signage

The latter have excess amounts of space and the former can stand at least one bus. It's all doable.
