    Loco haulage around Hamburg?

RE1 to Buchen/Schwerin/Rostock also hauled RE8 (Lubeck) no longer hauled, though RB80 and RB81 which are the local shorts on the same route are. RE5 is no longer Metronom, though does used the same diesel locos and stock in Metronom colours. If you play around in Bahn.Expert (and change the...

Changing from TL to EL at Farringdon - tap..?

Finsbury Park is often temperamental, but at the moment KeyGo seems to working fine on all the standalone readers in the subway that I have tried recently... even so, when the ones near platform 1 and 2 and the southbound underground lines are playing up, the one at the other end by the...

    Restriction code 9I

Notwithstanding whether or not it is technically valid due to a valid itinerary being produced, but is code 9I being applied correctly by journey planners? On a journey from Sandy travelling northbound, on a Tuesday, destination Manchester via Leeds (or York depending which journey planner you...

    KeyGo at Farringdon

Yes, the tap data from the LNER gateline is, once again, not making it's way to the GTR back office for whatever reason.

    KeyGo at Farringdon

Yes. Finsbury Park has gone rogue again. Reader 82 in the subway (by the northbound Victoria Line/Piccadilly Line stairs) recognises KeyGo - the others appear not to! Kings Cross LNER gatelines have also gone rogue again in that the gateline will let you in or out, but the taps aren't getting...

    Amending keyGo activity

Presumably using standalone readers when transferring to/from Underground? The readers at the entrance to the spiral stairs down to the underground appear to be fine on every occasion I have used them - the ones at the bottom of the platform 1 and 2 stairs less so (and always have been...

    Amending keyGo activity

You should be able to amend in the journey history. There appears to be an issue with the gateline at Hertford North at the moment as I also had a tap in showing as a tap out at the weekend. Likewise the tap out at Stevenage wasn't recorded. As I was continuing the journey from SVG it got a bit...

    KeyGo at Farringdon

And the one in sort of the same place on the southbound TL platform worked fine leaving KeyGo and entering Oyster on Thursday too.

    keyGo terms update

it is more likely a specific issue at Kings Cross, which after about 6 months of correspondence with GTR does now appear to be fixed - well my taps are recording again anyway. Finsbury Park has always appeared to have issues, particularly tapping on the standalone readers by the stairs up from...

Rail Replacement Bus + KeyGo / Credit Card

You **should** be able to log on to both of the Great Northern and Thameslink websites using the same email and password. My Keygo history shows fine in either of those (and also on the Southern website) so no idea if it is a legacy (old) Southern Key issue or website specific. The current...

    DB Sparpreis va Supersparpreis

I believe the QR codes on DB tickets to work NL gates are simply gate passes and will open any gate; but will only work for a specific number of attempts. A recent example, two of us traveled via Enschede to Rotterdam, with a sparpreis ticket routed via the direct ICE from Duisburg to Utrecht -...

Scotrail to withdraw paper Flexipass from End of October

Except if they take lessons from Kings Cross where the staff on the LNER barrier line seem to prefer leaving them open with a red cross in both directions, which disables the readers, so you can't actually tap in or out...

Super Off-Peak Stations With No Super Off-Peak Travelcard

I've not read all of the opening rant which seems to boil down to one point... the OP is not comparing like for like, given the Super Off Peak tickets have a destination of Victoria. The off peak version is ticketed to London Terminals and is the base for the Travelcard. Not entirely sure why...

    March 2019 Oyster Extensions Confirmed

Hertford North, Bayford and Cuffley have gone live today.

Location of Oyster Readers at GTR interchange stations with Underground

I didn't suggest using a London Terminals ticket to Farringdon, but using one to Moorgate, which was a destination noted by the OP, is fine.
  16. K

Location of Oyster Readers at GTR interchange stations with Underground

Yes but if going to Moorgate per the OP's quote then a London Terminals ticket will suffice at a cheaper cost. If journeying beyond Moorgate simply tap in on the reader on the Northern City Line platform.

Location of Oyster Readers at GTR interchange stations with Underground

Not entirely sure what ticket you have that means you can travel to Farringdon before touching in, but have to touch in at Finsbury before travelling to Moorgate?

    March 2019 Oyster Extensions Confirmed

Is Oyster an "Any Permitted ticket". LNER can refuse to accept Oyster (much like Heathrow Express until now and Southeastern HiSpeed originally). If they don't then they don't get a share of the revenue from passengers using Oyster (which is allocated by TfL).

    Thameslink Services/Timetable from May 20th 2018

In the original timetable it is booked to start from north of the river and go round the loop; instead, temporarily it is starting from Three Bridges, using a unit off the depot, and picks up the ex Sutton path at Blackfriars.
