giving the borderers a chance to connect with EC in Edinburgh and WCML at Carlisle would be great would freight be transported though ? back to the OP------I am amazed that the line was built at the cost it was and the borders was long overdue some capital expenditure

if you were to do a random poll of people living in the borders and Midlothian I would reckon more than 90% of people would not know that stow of wedale was in fact the village of stow in the borders on the subject of overcrowding , late trains etc well !!! of course it will settle down...

I have heard many reports of on certain services people left standing and kids having to sit on the floor given that its a new service and many want to try it out I would have expected more than two carriages on each service

yes back then gala was served by 4 quite small supermarkets fine fare (which became gateway) templetons laws and the co-op(which became pricefighter)

yes it will be a bus station---you will need to leave the interchange and cross a busy road via pelican crossing to reach the railway the contracters have done well and visit Scotland have promoted it well but I disagree that SBC have been brilliant---they have moved yes but far too slowly
