    Thank you! In the scenario the train is already at a station - no point in wasting time investigating - get people off speedily and safely, if there's no fire you can pop them back on just as speedily.

    d. (providing that competent person is present) No good making a PA to evacuate as you can't be sure if the message is audibly reaching all carriages. Lots of people have headphones in, some might be deaf. A physical presence using voice and whistle and giving clear directions for the evacuation...

    Usually not until after 2 years - partly because of the amount of time spent route learning before you can start working the routes - plus the traction if it's different.

    Sometimes 3 on then 9 off - you'll not be doing 9 to 5, you'll be working with the public as tired and exacting early morning commuters and tired and over emotional late night travellers. If you're confrontational or have to win, then back off now. If you can cope with the public, follow rules...
