Plain Clothes Inspectors at Manchester Victoria

I wouldn't consider it assault personally and I have much better things to do than try and sue Northern Rail but as someone who suffers from anxiety and is a bit panicky it's not the nicest of things...

Plain Clothes Inspectors at Manchester Victoria

I'd give you that (they have people there) but this happened once and I use it almost everyday. Other times I go, there is no one there. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Yeah next to Platform 6 I think? They lead to the McDonalds, or there is a tunnel out towards Cheetham Hill...

Plain Clothes Inspectors at Manchester Victoria

It's the one with the big doors that's signposted as an exit that leads to the Arena or Trinity Way. Normally there's no signage. Occasionally there's a sign facing to people entering saying no entry. Never any no entry signs facing people exiting. Only been like this since the ticket gates...

Plain Clothes Inspectors at Manchester Victoria

Hey guys This happened to me the other day and I want to ask if anyone works at Victoria, why they won't put some inspectors permanently by the MEN/Trinity Road entrance. I got off the train as usual, went that way (no ticket inspectors there) then all of a sudden I get tapped by this guy...

What happened to the "smart ticketing" thing in Manchester?

Only plans for summer I've seen on the Metrolink is they're closing St. Peters Square. Great :-; Seriously speaking though, I saw that but I'm just curious if anyone has any other knowledge of what's going on because the whole project seems completely abandoned...

What happened to the "smart ticketing" thing in Manchester?

I remember seeing a while ago all this smart ticketing stuff happening in Manchester and being able to use contactless to pay for tram fares and it was all coming "in 2014". It's now 2015 and as I got off the metro the other day I noticed one of the posters again and decided to see if it was...

    Tram and Train at 16

Thank you :) I have lurked here for a while after I had some issue with my child travelcard (to be honest don't blame the staff at the station for being extra careful!) and read about what happens if they catch you without a ticket. Doesn't look pleasant! I've not considered a scholar...

    Tram and Train at 16

I have someone who specifically checks on my because of my age but if I ask them for something it usually ends up in some bureaucratic game of bullsh*t tennis between him and my local council trying to find a way to sort it and in the end I have to sort it out myself. Sort of like in this case...

    Tram and Train at 16

    >Your personal tutor should have told you that you are entitled free escorted travel from your home to the University building where you would meet up with your supervisor at University. I don't have a supervisor at University. I go just like any other student. >It is not expected that a...

Youngest in Manchester as far as I know (I go Salford, Manchester and Man. Met both don't take Under 16's). I'll have to check with TFGM.

    Tram and Train at 16

Yeah I didn't really want to go into detail incase it went off topic haha. Been doing stuff part time at the OU since I was 11 and got enough credits to apply for Uni of Salford last year and got in (had to do a GCSE privately in English and Maths).

    Tram and Train at 16

Hey guys! I won't go into it much but I'm 15 (at the moment) and I'm at Uni. I get to Uni by using the Metrolink and then getting a train from either Deansgate or Victoria to Salford Crescent. As I'm a child in the eyes of the railway now, I just get a monthly season ticket from Sale...
