What sort of payment are they looking for? If it’s to cover electricity for charging then fair enough (unless you also use it for personal gains), but as tablets are a quality of life improvement compared to lugging around multiple physical items this is not a battle I’d personally pick/support.

You can be "de arrested" in the UK providing you are somewhere other than a Police station. If the former, the record is only held by the officers pocket book, if the latter then you will be processed with record on file.

That was more due to the design of the spigots on certain wagons, they were since modified to stop that sort of thing happening with other mitigations also put in place.

Staff retention plays a part in higher wages. Given the cost and length of training, companies are not going to want high staff turnover.

^this^ It isn‘t a door, it’s a plug panel. It has no door furniture…ie has no handles, hinges or emergency slides etc with the inside being covered by normal internal panels.

Those T&Cs make no mention of enhanced pay AND a day off in lieu. But as above, you’ll need to speak to your own people as no one here will know your specifics.
