Any movement on Qualified driver pools?

Few years so far, I’ve heard stories of people never getting a job from it. Not sure if that’s true. Guess they are popular places to relocate too.

Not sure I was clear enough, Im a qualified driver so not worried about tests expiring. Was just hoping they give you a night to discuss it as it’s a big move as a family. A lot will depend on the housing market as well for us.

Been in a talent pool for a while now. If you are offered a position do you have to say yes there and then? Any news on any qualified drivers being taken out of the pools at the moment?

Might be less jobs going with the service cuts in Cornwall now?

Anybody happen to know if Sundays are likely to come into the working week with the current negotiations?

I applied for a SW depot end of last year, interviewed this year and passed that. Now just a waiting game and hoping when they offer a position it still works well for my life to move.

Hi For qualifieds who have been succesful once you have had an interview how long would you expect to wait for a position?

I asked if I could be considerd for both Plymouth and Exeter and they said no. Still waiting to hear anything although I only applied in October.

Presume this will take away hopes for people waiting for qualified vacancies :/

Sorry cant answer your questions but out of interest when did you apply? Just gauging the time frame for these jobs.

How close to the depot would you need to live?

Hope not as 70% salary would not be very attractive. It said last time I looked about £10,000 less for the first year and then goes up to full rate.

Where do train crew sign on for Plymouth? At the depot or Plymouth station?

Id be interested to hear if anyone qualified has moved to either Plymouth or Exeter as considering a move myself in the future.
