    What has happened to 313.205?

I'm assuming this was the one that caught fire at Falmer?

    Southern Interiors

My mistake, I think I misinterpreted what I was told previously. Thinking about it, first class in 2 coaches would be ridiculous... I'm not sure what I was thinking!

    Southern Interiors

In terms of the /4s, I believe the original plan was to have the leading and trailing coaches (with the comfier seating) dedicated entirely to first class, with the two middle coaches (with the ironing board seating) remaining as standard. Of course, it was soon realised that capacity wouldn't...

Current allocated formations of Class 375 and Class 377 trains.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was the one! In the video it is en route to Lovers Walk as 5H90.

    Class 377/387 coupled.

A couple of months ago, 377101 failed near Pevensey and was rescued by a 387. A photo of this is shown on the link below: https://twitter.com/SR_Trainspotter/status/1416528487133978629

Current allocated formations of Class 375 and Class 377 trains.

I've only seen it done a few times - during one of the Eastbourne Airshows (2018 I think), the Brighton-Ore-Brighton services were formed of either a 377/1 or /4 and a 377/6 for 9 car diagrams. Back in July, 377101 failed near Pevensey and was rescued by a 387 - another fairly rare sight...

Current allocated formations of Class 375 and Class 377 trains.

A bizarre combination of units seen at Hampden Park 2 years ago. A 377/6, 377/3 (342 to make it even more unique!) and 377/2. Everything about this formation was rare for the coastway!

Current status on which routes and stock are DOO and which have Guards and what door control methods are used?

Hmm, I might be wrong on this, but I was under the impression that 171s used door deselect instead of SDO. Door deselect requires the Guard to release the doors. However, this may have changed so you could very well be right.

Current status on which routes and stock are DOO and which have Guards and what door control methods are used?

AFAIK the Guard opens the doors at all stations with short platforms. At Three Oaks and Doleham, he/she will release the doors from the panel in the front coach.

Current status on which routes and stock are DOO and which have Guards and what door control methods are used?

For this one: 171 (Marshlink) - Driver Open - Guard Close (But am wondering if it is now Guard Open - Guard Close since the four coach sets were introduced on this line? Could anyone confirm?) At stations on this route that can accommodate 4 car 171s (e.g. Hampden Park), the Driver will open...

    What’s this ‘noise’?

I know exactly what sound you're talking about. I first noticed it at Plumpton. You can hear it in this video

    Class 313 diagrams?

Oh interesting. Brighton, and Falmer on the return, will end up being a nightmare with far less capacity then!

    Class 313 diagrams?

Presumably the Brighton-Hastings/Ore's will be strengthened to 8 377s?

Milton Keynes to Clapham/Croydon - Southern Service.

There was a /2 on my Victoria-Eastbourne service on Monday.

Why is Southern's Redhill to Tonbridge service crewed by Southeastern?

Wait, SN drivers can operate GWR stock?

GTR Electrostar refurbishments: 377s and 387s

Yeah, I like it too! I'm wondering if this is the sort of exterior refurbishment we'll see one day...

GTR Electrostar refurbishments: 377s and 387s

The closest you'll get to that is probably the driving cars of 377 111 (the 'thank you NHS' unit). It uses the colour scheme of the new branding.

    Battersea Staff Halt

I can't see any movements from Battersea Pier Sidings today though.

Trivia: Current services where the train reverses ends, mid-journey.

Theoretically, you could access the BML from platform 2 at Brighton (8 car maximum); this would require a movement via the West Carriage Road and through Lovers Walk. I believe the 442 railtour in 2017 used this route. In terms of the 00:02 ex Victoria, when the service splits at Brighton it...
