    Films you've seen/film discussion

The Lone Wolf Spy Hunt (1939) Amusing romp about a charismatic safe cracker who is roped into a conspiracy to steal weapon plans, Ida Lupino and Rita Hayworth are in this for some admirable star power, plus an annoying kid. Charlie Chan's Secret (1936) First Charlie Chan film i've seen where...

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

Funny i thought all my dozens of posts in this thread over the last few years where i have supported Remain (with reservations) would have indicated i would not want that. Maybe i've just wasted my time here...

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

Oh get off your high horse, insult blah blah. i was just pointing out that just because its not reported there is still a lot of violence in NI. The GFA has improved things greatly but its not a nirvana.

I bought a second-hand HO (or HOe to be precise) coach last year, someone had put some seated pax in it but i think they used OO figures as it looks like the incredible hulk is on the train :D

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

I always get my jeans from M&S but as i have long legs i've long given up ever finding a pair my size in store. I agree with you about keeping popular sizes in stock though. My local Debenhams only seems to keep S to L in stock though a brief survey of shoppers at the shopping centre would...

Yes i agree with you on that (probably first thing we've agreed on lol) It just comes across a bit patronising and smug.

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

If they have a formula that works and avoids excessive costs and debts then they'll be fine, the danger comes when some whiz kid with an MBA takes over and has the bright idea to move into those large towns and cities.

I see the usual suspect papers are blaming Corbyn for the Brexit impasse now, i have thought for some time the whole thing would be called off if they could find a way to blame Labour

    Films you've seen/film discussion

Concorde Affair (1979) Low-budget Italian rip off of Airport 79. Shadowy US elite cause the Concorde to crash but a reporter tries to uncover the truth (and save the girl of course). Worth it for the "SFX", basically someone tossing a Concorde model onto a bath of water.
