Does anything other than the pair of Class 139 PPMs ever go down the short Stourbridge Town line? The Class 950 every now and then perhaps? Could any special railtours (of the type run by the BLS) go down it? Have they?

I'm NOT suggesting it should be done, but i was just wondering is there any technical reason why third (or fourth rail) systems couldn't be AC not DC? And if not have there been any such systems in the world?

I'm not saying its likely anyone would ever do this but if a rich rail enthusiast wanted to travel around the network in their own private train would this be possible? Obviously the train they owned would need to be mainline certified, but would they need to form their own TOC? How easy...
