Mod note: Discussion was split from this thread https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/mcgills-scotland-east-midland-bluebird-and-eastern-scottish.237331/ Does anybody know what the maximum size of the original Eastern Scottish fleet ever was, and what the Deans peak vehicle requirement is today?

    Little Red Book

A question for those of you with longer memories. When was the Little Red Book last issued, who published it, and is there anywhere else that the information it contained can be found updated today?

    Kells Transport Museum, Ireland

Does anybody know what the current status of this collection is? Website hosting has lapsed and there were rumours that it was all going to get cleared out for scrap.

    Superstitious bus operators

I can think of one bus network that had routes numbered from 1 up to the 20s but never a 13. Also I am sure there were fleets that went from 1 to 12 then 14 upwards. Any present day examples?

    "Non-Olympian" step entrance operators 2016

Inspired by the Olympian operators thread, are there any other models of step entry double decker still in normal service this year? Eg Scania, Dennis Dominator or Arrow, Volvo Citybus (forget open toppers and half cabs for simplicity)

    Q registered PSVs

Used to see a few Q registered vehicles about, kit cars and the like but not for a while now. Were there ever any Q plate buses and coaches? Anyone still operating one in service?

    Britains biggest bus buyer

Has anybody got a record of how many vehicles each of the big groups has bought in the last twenty years? I would include the likes of leased Megabus coaches and the secondhand buses First bought from dealers, but not stock acquired with business takeovers etc.

    Britains biggest PVR

Apologies if this one has been the subject of a past discussion, but I wondered what route has the highest peak vehicle requirement? I'm guessing in London, but perhaps there is something even more intensive in one of the other large cities?
