One possibility is that the customer thought the refund was going back on the oyster card. They might have only noticed later when the credit did not appear.
Where did the cash come from ? Now there are no ticket offices I assume to came out of a machine on the concourse. Can these machines issue cash refunds ?
I was wondering how long the driver training time varied depending on which line you drive ?
I assume the Victoria, where the train drives itself between stations, would be shorter compared to the Bakerloo where the train is manually driven.
They have 14 days to contact the owner of the van to find out who was driving. So basically you have to wait.
If nothing heard by then you should be OK. Please note however if the van is leased then they will contact the lease company first. The lease company will tell the police the company...
A list of stations doesn't really help.
Both Reading and Exeter St Davids would be on there. The network railcard is not valid on any train via Taunton. You would have to go to Basingstoke and go via Salisbury. That's why you need to use the map.
Yes everyone without a reservation is expected to remain in the unreserved carriage. The beauty of the Japanese system is you can reserve a seat any time.
Or just use the Japanese system. A coach is simply labelled on the outside reserved or non-reserved. No further labels required and you can reserve a seat anytime.
