Any word on Fife changes in the pipeline?

Really annoying that you can’t read this unless you pay!

Was on one of the 747 single deck buses earlier this week, was struggling to climb hills and there was lots of warning signs flashing on the dashboard. They will have been worked hard with the 24 hour service! Good news about the coaches, could do with a lot more of them!

Any updates on new coaches for the express network, the existing ones are getting very unreliable and quite a few missing each day?

Passed a few on Princes Street in Edinburgh yesterday, most were empty and the ones that had passengers only carried 2 or 3 at best. Cant be making much money from it.

Would these be Plaxton Panorama like the Citylink ones?

Not just the X7 that needs new coaches, the newest in the fleet are 2018, passenger numbers must surely be high enough again to justify replacements?

Assume Cowdenbeath is getting something smaller to operate it?

Are there no plans to run the F59 this year during the Edinburgh festival? Most buses heading into Edinburgh this afternoon were showing bus full and that was with deckers on the X55!

At this rate all the tridents will be gone soon!

I dont think they have enough coaches to able to run the existing service levels, have they lost coaches since the Glasgow services were previously every 20 minutes?

I wonder what the change is to Fife services 19 and 747? Is the 747 getting an increase in frequency for the summer?

Anyone know if there are any plans to bring in more coaches? A lot seem to be off the road these days and are constantly being substituted.

What service are Dunfermline getting new double decks for?

Has this been acquired by Stagecoach and is to stay?

I believe that it is the Dunfermline city services to go electric, presumably the 1,2, 3 and 5 services. Are 10 new electric buses enough?

I saw a Stagecoach 23 plate electric bus on the 2 in Dunfermline this evening. I think it was numbered 30020. Presumably Dunfermline depots new buses are starting to arrive. Do we know how many are due?

They look to be 2015 coaches, a lot of the Fife ones were registered between 2011 & 2013 so marginally newer. Given the mileage they cover its time they were replaced.

Daytime X52 would be good. A lot of houses on the east side of Dunfermline that have no service to Edinburgh out with the peak times. Would only need to run from Edinburgh bus station off peak. Question is, are there enough drivers and coaches?
