General Biblical Debate (trying to prove the Earth is an "upright circle")

[Mod note: I have split out the debate on University into its own thread, and copied posts relevant to both issues - Mike395] A bit like religious education then.

    WSMR Weekend First

On the NRES website, it states that weekend first upgrades are available on WSMR "priced at £15.00 for a single journey, regardless of the length of journey". Does this include the complimentary food and drink, I can't find anything on WSMR's website about Weekend First at all?

Picking up tickets from SWT TVMs

One thing I've noticed that is rather odd is that when ordering tickets from the SWT website, and other TOC sites that use the same system e.g. CrossCountry, I can chose any SWT station with a TVM to pick up my tickets from. Yet when using the Southern website, and other TOCs with the same...

Just having a quick browse on the system-which-must-not-be-named and noticed that all CrossCountry Reading - Birmingham (and beyond) services were calling at Solihull today! Too high end?

My Vista laptop doesn't like BVE, and my XP desktop can't run it either despite having a GeForce 8800GTS, and many versions of the drivers have been attempted... It took me ages to get BVE4 to work on my previous computer with a GeForce 6800GT. Does BVE have a phobia of high end graphics...

    The place they call London

A trip around London for me today... not too bad except for the sun after 11am. http://jsphotography.fotopic.net/c1400041_1.html I'm quite happy with some of the results and today has rejuvenated my interest in railway photography after a few poor months of cloudy shot after cloudy shot...

    STANME Codes Lists

I couldn't find a STANME codes list on the internet anywhere, and as STANME codes are what are used predominantly in TRUST and TOPS reports I thought it might be useful to someone if I began compiling a list - that and the fact I have too much time! This is NOT finished, but if anyone has...
