I ventured down to my local railway today to have a look at their diesel gala. Here are a few of my offerings, hope you enjoy.

hi all,
I am looking to go to york in jan or feb 2012. Leaving on a sunday & coming back on the following tuesday.
Would really want to avoid the cross country services as never seem to read good reviews on the trains.
Any other suggestions?
MTIA.

Thanks for the info. The £32ticket was what I was looking at although there doesnt seem much in the way of train options from westbury onwards.
Thanks.

Hi all,
If I purchase an advance return ticket, will I be able to travel via westbury & exeter as well as via bristol temple meads ? Just want to see if I can travel this way just for a a different view.
Many thanks.

Thanks all for the great info, we are flying up for the weekend but exploring the different option of using the train on the way back, for a bit of a change & providing it is not massively too expensive. Seems like it can be done at good cost & thanks again for the info !
Regards.

Hi all,
Hopefully some of you more knowledgeable people can help & suggest or find the cheapest ticket on this day. Standard advance single is £58.00 but can i get cheaper by splitting the tickets ? I dont have any knowledge of the best way so any help gratefully received.
Thanks.
