    Annoying passenger bingo

I agree with most of the sentiments on here. Unfortunately that is the way our society is heading, where folk only care about a foot radius area around them. I'd like to add two more gripes. Passengers who have to open up a newspaper on a tightly packed train. Secondly, those that sit in first...

    LM Service misses stop

It was not my intention on being a 'grass' - I merely wanted to discuss it on the forum, as I was quite surprised that the stop was missed. Let me get one thing straight - I am on the driver's side here. The guy made an honest mistake, and I did not like the way passengers were barracking him...

    LM Service misses stop

Thanks, but I am only reporting it. I'm actually on the driver's side, as I believe he made a genuine mistake - he is human! He looked quite upset when the passengers were surrounding him and having a go at him. Anyway, it only added about 25 mins to the journey time.

    LM Service misses stop

Well if there are any drivers on here who may offer an explanation, that would be most welcome. The guard was aware that we had to stop at Harrow, and it did come up on the display.

    LM Service misses stop

Got the service from Euston today to Harrow and Wealdstone. However, the driver went past the stop, despite the auto announcer saying that the next stop 'is Harrow and Wealdstone' Then, on the digital display something along the lines of 'Will the driver please contact the conductor' or...

No London Midland services this Sunday

Maybe a new company will be able to negotiate with the unions in a more professional manner than LM do at the moment.

No London Midland services this Sunday

That's quite shocking! The DfT should take the franchise back!

    London Overground 378

Any news on these. I've counted as many as 7 units at the Willesden depot.

    London Overground 378

Any ideas when they will be used on the Euston-Watford DC line?

    London Overground 378

There was certainly one 'missing' this morning as my LM went by the Willesden TMD. Only counted 4 units.

    London Overground 378

All seem still to be at Willesden TMD whenever I go past on LM service during the peaks.

    London Overground 378

Well Willesden Junction is advertised as step free: http://overgroundmicrosite.tfl.gov.uk/Documents/Overground-In-train-Map-Mar-09.aspx but only from platform to street. There is a more detailed map which shows the distance between the platform and the tube floor...

    London Overground 378

How is the wheelchair user supposed to get on that in the first photo? Bad TfL publicity to show such a large gap between brand new shiny unetched ungraffitied train and platform.

    Class 395 "Javelin"

Had a ride on it today, 10.37 from St Pancras. Highly impressed. Smooth and accelerates well. Well worth the extra cash to travel in this kind of comfort if desired.

    Javelin Preview

Is it possible to turn up, by a ticket and go for a ride on this srvice? Or do ticckets nned to be bought in advance? I'm planning a trip on Thursday morning from St Pancras and back.

    London Overground 378

Quite a few of them at the Willesden TMD days, but the LM service I'm on goes to fast for me to catch all their numbers. I think I saw 013 outside this morning, with a couple more in the shed.

    LM Desiros interiors

Yup, the 350/2s always seem a little cramped. The /1s seem more comfortable, even for standing passengers.
