    Luton Airport Parkway parking charges

Unfortunately, the day ends at midnight in the TL car parks as far as I know. Do you specifically need to park at Parkway? Luton station is £5.60 for an entire day and a few mins away by bus or train.

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

Recently I've used the 387s a few times from Kings Cross and the corridor connections have not been use. Rather annoying when the rear fills up and the front has ample seating.

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

Used it a few times. It works OK but isn't particularly fast and it seems to suffer frequent dropouts.

Midland Mainline timetable changes May 2018

But A0wen is talking about his views on the current situation, not the future (May 2018 or 2020) timetable.

Midland Mainline timetable changes May 2018

I have couple of questions regarding your post. Firstly, don't both Leicester and Nottingham passengers have the option of services which do not stop at Luton Airport Parkway, Luton or Bedford? For example, would it not make more sense for passengers to Leicester to wait for the 1757 which is...

Wasn't the cantilevered seat design specifically to allow easy floor/duct cleaning?

Midland Mainline timetable changes May 2018

That doesn't answer my question at all - please show me figures which show revenue per passenger is higher for long-distance journeys versus commuters using season tickets. ORR's data portal says something quite different.

Do you have any statistics to back that statement up?

St Pancras High Level Concourse - How Did it Ever Get Past Planning?

While I have my qualms with the station design, I think the most idiotic decision was installing barriers on the EMT concourse. Passengers flowed far better with the manual gate arrangement and, as it is, half the time the barriers are open and manual checks are in operation anyway!

Trivia: Large stations where trains pass through but don't stop

I am not sure if they still run, but I used some services years ago from Plymouth that did not stop at Bristol Temple Meads and instead passed.

    Edinburgh Tram developments

Some people in Edinburgh just like to have a good moan. They complain the tram goes nowhere useful and when they plan to extend it somewhere useful, they complain about the disruption. I think the level of disruption is also exaggerated, as in my (plentiful) experience of using Leith Walk...

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

Was onboard a delayed Bedford service this afternoon which had an extended stop at City Thameslink. Not really sure what happened but it seems it had a decent knock on effect, all things considered. Sent from my LG-H870 using Tapatalk

    Thameslink/ Class 700 Progress

To be honest, I find bays annoying for a different reason. You'll often find a 2 people sitting in them and very rarely will they move for a group of 3-4 people to sit together. If there's very few seats I can understand, but off-peak when it's more lightly loaded, not so much.

Misspelt but yes, Devonport is the correct answer.

    The "Name the Station" game

Nope. One of the guesses has been far closer than the others. Clue 4: The HSTs do not stop at this station, but regularly pass through. Sent from my LG-H870 using Tapatalk

None of those. Clue 3: This station sees Class 150s, 153s and HSTs. Sent from my LG-H870 using Tapatalk
