ORR unveils station usage data between April 2022 and March 2023

Agree totally the season tickets issued for all the stations from Prittlewell to Rayleigh, are “Southend all stations“ to Liverpool St etc. which for years made Southend Victoria figures look higher than they really were.

Elizabeth line: Commuters say service 'not what was promised'

On the East side, it is a game changer no more 315s full and standing from Chadwell Heath, no more fist fights at Forest Gate as commuters were unable to get on trains. No more unable to get on 3 or 4 west bound central line trains at Liverpool Street. The good old days of 5 years ago.

    Busiest Services.

In the days pre-COVID and 345 it was not uncommon for scuffles to breakout at Forest Gate and Manor Park as passengers were unable to board services towards Liverpool St, most services had no seats left after Romford and were full and crush loaded by Ilford. However got to say even the 7 coach...

Worst London station in rush hour

I would say Stratford pre COVID in the evening peak period, especially if it is raining as little cover on platforms 9 / 10.

Stabling during Southend Victoria to Wickford 9 day closure

As most of the 321s used on the branch and are stabled at Southend, does anyone know where the temporary stabling is for the Wickford to Southminster and Wickford to Liverpool Street services.

    Stratford London after crossrail

As a regular user of Stratford for Southend Vic services, platforms 10 & 10a really do need a canopy as when it is raining people wait on the stairs until the service arrives to avoid getting wet. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- I really can't see many people changing to cross...

Crossrail - Any benefit extending eastwards?

The Southend Branch is already full and standing on most services by the time it reaches Shenfield, in the peak hours most of which are 12 coach trains. This would mean half of the Crossrail services would be full before leaving Shenfield (the current metro services are also full and standing by...
