Standard 9F no. 92219 off to the Highlands

If its the 9F that was evicted from Kirby Stephen a while back, and its the same owner, then chances of it being rebuilt are nil..No money to talk of.

    Irwell Press

The two authors that are/were Irwell Press have decided to call it a day. This was announced in April 2023,but I have just seen it. The reason as they put it is dotage, old age.Sorry to see them finish.Note the company or and name have not been sold as was the case with Wild Swan. Shame as I...

The East Lancs bookshop, also has a model rail side ,which is what the books side grew..In the early days of its enlargement the pricing was very erratic in the customers favour..Picked up all 3 vols of George Dows Great Central for £3 the lot..Unfortunately dont drive now ,so my knowledge dates...

I personally know this person..Obviously unable to comment on him as a person ,but can say with certainty that he has not nor will he apply for planning permission for what he is doing..Must admit that his station has been built by a professional as the finish is A1. OLD RAILWAY BOOKS/MAGAZINES IN NEED OF NEW HOME

The position in the secondhand book market is dire..The main buyers of rail books, are not buying for stock as they are overstocked and have suffered a decline in sales to boot. Martin Bott on his facebook page makes it very clear that they are not buying..They have bought a few collections of...
