Without interlock you can not release the brakes , the 2nd part of what driverd said is correct, It would be more likely a traction power issue and once they got moving probably didn't want it stopping again :)
Surely it is cancel culture, they are advising not to have them as they might cause anguish . why would you go somewhere that caused anguish surely must people can decide that for themselves .
It isn't much fun at the moment with all these silly restrictions, also must of the places we have been to seem to have put there prices up eg £7.50 for a jacket potato with beans :)
