Great review and personal thoughts! I've been in the grade less than a year and Cleanshirt's review is an almost mirror image of my experiences throughout recruitment and training. Although my fun is continuing, I'm required to write up reflective task journals for my apprenticeship which is...

Couldn't agree more! First day flying solo is sooo nerve racking, but within a few days all that IST serves you well, the confidence multiplies, the smile grows and reality dawns! You've made the grade! Now stay calm, take 5 when you need to and don't star in a red video!

More's the pity, the pubs in York are awesome! We had a great IST group and relaxed just enough when we needed to. Are you at The Marriott? We were, it's a nice walk to school and back.

Thank you for the heads up on bike storage, do you know if there's a shelter? I'm driving to the hotel on the Sunday night, it cuts my journey time in half at each end of the week. Is there a bus route along the road where the Marriott Hotel is to the station?

York Marriott Hotel to Signaller school I've had a look on Google maps, 30 min walk. I'm driving to the hotel and was thinking about taking my bike. How have you guys travelled to York school before?
