    DB class 37's

Agreed. Although as we know WNTR doesn't mean they won't be used, a few 60s in the WNTR pool still see daily use.

    57005 and 67s

Beastly phot of 57005 Turner, that would be top class with some better lighting on it :) Also, someone needs to do some pruning :wink:

My take on the Retro Avon Grid.

You can bring the former with you! She'll enjoy a day at the seaside  Plus you can't say you'd flag the first and last 50 to visit Aber are you? And you've lost that inch of respect I had for you  I'm put off by Birmingham, not enough grass. And anyway, I'd get arrested with...

The sun shines, and 60074/60096 are out to play:-)

Cheers, we were abit concerned aswell, about 5 minutes before it was due the clear blue sky started to produce some clouds, and after a few scary moments we had a big enough gap in the fluff to bag a shot. (The joys of photography eh?!)

Cracking shot of 60074 Ferret, looks like you were nearly done in by cloud too!! I did the quarry shot at Bayston Hill, this was the result http://daviddawson.fotopic.net/p57881365.html

    Acceptable April

All, Firstly, apologies for not appearing on here too much lately, been rather busy with this that and the other. Secondly, April has all but passed and I have yet to tell you of my photographic efforts for the month (shocking I know:wink:) Highlights for April will have to be 47854 on...

37670 (again!), The WAGex, Colas Duffs and a Tube Battery loco(!!!!)

    DRS Class 55

I'm not even going to bother forming a reply to you, as you really haven't read my posts through, and I can barely understand yours. I also have a personal opinion, and seeing as we are on a forum I was just debating the two, but seeing as you think yourself to be some god at the right old age...

    DRS Class 55

It's been common knowledge since they purchased it really, no one really expected it to be working freight. If you read my post, I said that they do scrap locos, but only because they have been stripped of all parts and are of no use to anyone. The thing is, arguements are caused by...

    SVR Steam Gala

Yeah, yours is definately slower, I took mine on 1/60 of a second. If I'd have stuck around for more Manor or tender first workings I could have had another go. For my first attempt I'm pleased :D

    SVR Steam Gala

Very nice photos from a very nice event Matthew :D Edit: Almost snap! :D http://daviddawson.fotopic.net/p56772373.html
  20. EE Type 3

    DRS Class 55

I'm sorry, but how do you know they haven't done anything with it? Same old story? Pretty much every loco they have purchased has either been brought back to service or stripped for spares, they make use out of every loco they own. And HNRC are doing the work, not DRS. Just adding to the rumour...
