I'm currently trying to learn the Northern routes ready for future interviews but the number of different routes and destinations is quite overwhelming. Any advice on what to concentrate on? Maybe just a specific depots routes?

I would not do that if I were you, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Got to whichever assessment centre invite you get first, then if you pass you can tell the other company that you've already passed.

I assume you are talking about Northern. From my experience you seem to be able to have a customer service based application and a driver/conductor application in at the same time. I applied for a gateline job and conductor which was perfectly fine.

I'm in the same boat as the two of you as well. What does your application status say on the online portal? Still new application submitted?

Ah good, I put in for the original advert for September rather than the second advert for May. Not heard anything myself and my application status still says new application submitted. Fingers crossed but if it's not to be I'll try again next time. Good luck with your interview, hope it goes well!

Well after the blank emails I have just logged in to find my status is now unsuccessful after shortlisting. Ah well, maybe next time.

When I have done these tests before, just as you have, I got an email after doing the numerical reasoning test saying I was successful. However, I did not get any email after the verbal resreasoning. I did some research on this forum and found this to be normal and it did not mean I had failed...

It says in the selection criteria "You live within a one hour commuting distance from your desired Hub location.". It then goes on to say "Please note that if you do not meet ALL of the above criteria your application will not be shortlisted." Still might be worth a try all the same.
