We are still not getting the full story, as there is no mention of how this incident came to light. For example, was the 'customer' a genuine customer or actually someone that LU had engaged to conduct this scenario in order to obtain evidence of any cash mishandling?

Unite accepted the pay deal this week, according to the following. None of the TOCs mention any potential disruption, presumably because the contingency plans means that Hitachi is not expecting any impact to the TOCs.

Nor is there any mention of Hull Trains, which has stock maintained by Hitachi at Bounds Green.

Would the employer also be able to take disciplinary action short of dismissal? If so, what options are there for such disciplinary action?
