    Accidentally bought ticket twice

Do you have a phone number or an email address for their customer service? I can't seem to find anything except an online form, although I might just be looking in the wrong place.

    Accidentally bought ticket twice

I have told my friends this several times before, but for some reason a few of them seem to really like booking through Trainline, not sure why! Thanks everyone else for your help, hopefully she will be able to get a refund!

    Accidentally bought ticket twice

How long after you bought the tickets did you realise and contact customer services? Also did you email them or ring them?

    Accidentally bought ticket twice

Morning everyone, was wondering if I could get some advice. My friend booked some tickets about a month ago using the trainline website. She was intending to get two advance singles (one in each direction) but she has realised today that she was charged twice and has two of each ticket, one...

I've seen quite a few trains on the SWR network with graffiti on them running round recently.

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

It's annoying as I used to have a large one relatively near me. Now we have to drive a long way to get chicken food and they don't sell it in the size of bag they had in Countrywide. :(

Eastleigh - Portsmouth - Southampton ticket validity

I've looked around and I'm still not sure which tickets would be valid for my journey. I will be travelling from Eastleigh to Portsmouth, then Portsmouth to Southampton Central. I also have a season ticket which is valid between Eastleigh and Southampton. If I had a Eastleigh > Portsmouth...

"Ghost train" on destination board on train

That makes sense. I can't believe I didn't think of that. That seems like a really stupid thing to have a "quiet word" about!

"Ghost train" on destination board on train

That's odd, as it was definitely going in the other direction, i.e from somewhere west of Southampton.

"Ghost train" on destination board on train

I'm not sure if this is quite the right place to post this, if not then please move! I saw this earlier today. For those who may not be able to see the image, it is a 450 with "Ghost train 5Y05" on the description board on the side (can't remember the proper name for it!) Is this a common...

POLL: Shoud Arriva operated TOCs use the tagline "by arriva"

Gives a new meaning to "branding" too!

    If you took over SWR.

Yes! I really wish this could be brought in. I'm not all that educated in these matters, but theoretically what is stopping them from doing this?

POLL: Shoud Arriva operated TOCs use the tagline "by arriva"

See, I was thinking this at first. However, I think many people don't care what company runs / owns their trains, as long as they are clean and on time. I have met some people who still think it's all run by British Rail!

Train passenger wakes to find £100 gift from stranger

That's amazing! What a kind person that must be. There is still good in the world! I wonder if they'll find out who it was?
