We have three double gantries and a single at Marchwood station site plus an elevated yellow and back disc repeater on the curve from Marchwoord in the Up direction just before the junction (MW10R for MW10).

The Bovvercraft also seem to need a good run up at Southsea sometimes...they of course have great big padded bollards now to stop the 'craft going through the wall! As regards the Red Funnels, I do respect how you guys manoeuvre when berthing, especially the car ferries next to the Quay...

This afternoon at around 1600 we passed Eastleigh in our car. 70018 was at the head of a long container train in the usual platform for Fareham, and a 158 passed it in the usual Down platform. The DMU then went slowly forward and headed for the Botley line whilst the container train ran forward...

There is emergency engineering work on Lymington Pier, so this morning buses were accepting rail tickets between Town and Pier stations, and then this afternoon taxis were to be laid on. There was reference to damage to the pier? Any ideas as to what has happened please?
