Thats the hotel i stayed in, The Hawes Inn, lovely pace it was to! Clean and comfortable room, evening food and breakfast were superb and staff lovely.

Thanks for the kind comments. I use a Sony a350 with the standard lens that came with it, DT18-70mm F3.5-5.6, and bog standard settings on the camera, nothing fancy done here, mainly because I don't know what to do with all the settings, lol.

Certainly a thought, as long as the sea wall is open again, not sure when it's due for reopening.

So I think I have come up with a possible working plan, with gaps to fill time in various places, so can do a bit of hoping on and off, or just abuse the First Class lounges for refreshments and shower etc.... I get photo time in Dawlish and the Forth Bridge, only things I am missing is north...
