    Britain's noisiest trains

Locomotives may be noiser, but there is more separation between the engine and passenger areas. On a 150, or any DMU, the engines are below the passenger compartment. For wheel screeching, Thameslink St Pancras has to be added. Deafening.

Man stabbed on Guildford to London train near Horsley

My thoughts and prayers go to his son, witnesses, and the driver.

    Graffiti on trains

It is often said that art is subjective. I am personally not a fan of most of the globs of ugly lettering with colour vomited onto it.

Can paper train tickets be recycled?

I would shred them as they have information that could be used by burglars

    Graffiti on trains

I see lots of white vans with graffiti. Also, there's the risk of upsetting the owner of the vehicle, trains are owned by faceless companies.

"Homeless" person removed from Megabus in the middle of the night

No one wants someone who stinks the bus out, especially on a long overnight coach trip. And if they haven't even bought a ticket... Well I don't know how they expect to remain on the coach.

The Worst Thing To Ever Run On The Network

Likely as they do not work with design consultants when negotiating new stock. Some do a good job though, TfL and Abellio seem to get it right.

What will happen to Northern, ATW & GWR if the Class 769 "FLEX" fails?

Love the sound of the diesel engine then the classic electric motor.

National Express - Joining one stop Late

The drivers have a digital device they use to check tickets with.

Why are we not building new underground lines?

I'm not sure the OP means replicate the tube exactly for a new 'tube line'. Clearly, the deep level Underground concept is outdated as the trains are too small.

    LNER Azuma (Class 800/801)

Honestly, that does look very clime-able, especially so to children and intoxicated adults.

National Express - Joining one stop Late

I wouldn't risk it. I'm pretty sure NatEx skip stops if no tickets have been bought.

    Guard gives woman a note!

Everyone really should be appropriately mute, anti social, ensuring the appropriate lonely death when it appropriately occurs.

    Guard gives woman a note!

We weren't there so could not see exactly what happened, but as a guard who sees lots of people I think his judgement is quite tuned in to these things.

    Class 378 refresh

I think you mean the line is applied at the wrong angle. The headlight is innocent, he was there first!

    Littering/ waste along our railways

On many old photographs the lineside is clear with neatly cut grass. Controversial, but lineside mowing and litter removal could be a good job for prisoners to volunteer for.
