Locomotives may be noiser, but there is more separation between the engine and passenger areas. On a 150, or any DMU, the engines are below the passenger compartment.
For wheel screeching, Thameslink St Pancras has to be added. Deafening.
No one wants someone who stinks the bus out, especially on a long overnight coach trip.
And if they haven't even bought a ticket... Well I don't know how they expect to remain on the coach.
I'm not sure the OP means replicate the tube exactly for a new 'tube line'. Clearly, the deep level Underground concept is outdated as the trains are too small.
We weren't there so could not see exactly what happened, but as a guard who sees lots of people I think his judgement is quite tuned in to these things.
On many old photographs the lineside is clear with neatly cut grass.
Controversial, but lineside mowing and litter removal could be a good job for prisoners to volunteer for.
