Just so you don't get a totally negative view, I was only in the pool for a few weeks before being offered a place on a course. It will all come down to business needs and the depots you've applied to.

To be fair, where I am, 37 grand a year basic for mobile groundstaff with plenty of OT available, not to be sneezed at.

Positive mental attitude mate, if you're lucky enough to get that far, apply yourself, show the right attitude, look listen, learn and don't be afraid to ask questions and you'll be fine. At that stage it's all up to you.

When you failed the scatt test was it an online test for the mobile ground staff position? If so I doubt it will have any bearing on whatever assessments first group use for trainee tram drivers. Don't quote me on this but I'm sure the tram assessments are completely separate from anything to do...

That's what I did first time round, spent to long making sure they are plumbers, but that information is there to confuse you on purpose. They are all plumbers on that page or at least everything with a double symbol is a plumber.
