'Scenic trains' proposed by Scotrail for Highlands

Seen an article shared on twitter about 'scenic trains with larger windows planned by Scotrail for lines in Highlands'. Any idea what the proposal might be? The article itself shared in the Scotsman is behind a paywall...

Cyclists - your experiences on the road

Yeah, do Deliveroo part-time, usually earn about £12/13 an hour so not bad for me as a student. Flexible working hours too so there is no need to work if you don't want to.

Favourite automated announcement chimes and jingles.

The Metro in Laussane had a little jingle for each stop on the line which was pretty cool. Also quite like the jingles used on Renfe services.

    IC580 Terni-Milano Centrale

The only time I have seen a trolley to be fair is on some Intercity services from Bologna heading along the Adriatic Coast.

    IC580 Terni-Milano Centrale

Pretty sure that no Intercity trains have free refreshments in Italy (I don't even think Frecciabianca 1st offers freebies except certain weekday trains). Standard on the Intercity trains are comfortable enough anyways. Sometimes a refreshment trolley can be seen going down the train but as it's...

    Apple Pay on the Underground

Is there an issue with Apple Pay at certain ticket gates on the underground? Tried using it over two days but certain ticket gates (seemingly the ones that look like NR ones) would take a few attempts at it to accept it and open up.

Are there any Class 334's left on the Argyle Line?

I think there might be two diagrams for the class 334, there’s definitely one about 15 minutes before 2L14. Also have seen two arriving at argyle Street in the last few weeks in opposite directions.

    Scotrail class 320 refurbs

Does anyone much prefer the refurbs on the 318s? Think there seems to be more leg room and tables are actually useful!

    Scotrail class 320 refurbs

Is there two different refurbs that have been used? Some seem more modern than others; have the ex London midland ones been refurbed to a different spec?

    West Highland Line timetable 2020

Think it’s a half and half set up with half the coaches for seats. Is there not also a small cafe being set up in the coach too?

    Paris to Barcelona Priv

If you are using the coupons then you can simply reserve a seat on he French tgv for as little as 1.50€, as it was 3€ for me from Cannes to Girona, although a regional train was used from the border.
