The good old days Being wrapped across your knuckles with the wooden side of a blackboard duster Whenever you banged heads at school the playground teacher would send you to the kitchen to have butter rubbed on the bump. Happy memories

    Explore Wales Rover

It's served with Transport for Wales trains, I live there and it would be very handy for me. 1654423656 Just to add a little more confusion, why does it state limited service on the right of the map from Birmingham to Crewe. There are frequent trains on this route unless they are referring to...

    Explore Wales Rover

VideozVideoz has kindly provided the map earlier. I still don't see the need to provide details of the route from Birmingham International through I'm aware this is part of the Transport for Wales network hence why I thought it might be included as long as you only uses their trains

When you download the validity map from the Rail & Rover web site, it shows the line from Birmingham International through Wolverhampton and on to Shrewsbury. Admittedly it's a different colour to the main part of Wales but I thought this was that you could only use Transport for Wales trains.

    Re numbering of locomotives

Hi everyone Not sure where this fits but interested in knowing everyone's opinion on renumbering of trains. Do you still mark off the train as seen when for example certain class 156s have been modified and hence given a new number but you've seen it with its old number, many thanks.

    Confessions of an Enthusiast

Always remember the shock of seeing a Western along with GWR stock at Birmingham Snow Hill when staying with an Auntie in Brum. I had only seen them during our annual holiday in Devon and Cornwall and couldn't understand how they were so far north.

    Special Offers Discussion

Would it be possible to buy 2 return tickets and use for the 9.05 high speed to St Pancras from Ramsgate and return in the evening to Ramsgate. I checked online and noted the promotional price only applies if you use Margate rather than Ramsgate.
