Only confirmed timings are that Scotsman will arrive at Holyhead before 16:12 http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U50583/2016/06/15/advanced

It would appear that way. When I say 'quickly' I mean quicker than I was expecting. I would have expected a few hours at Holyhead. Still going to take a day trip to north Wales to grab some pics. :D

    Flying Scotsman

Yes, I did notice this working but didn't realise Scotsman would be turning around so quickly or that the Holyhead-Valley working had anything to do with the Scotsman. May also catch her on the way back across north Wales too.

Does anyone think there may be a chance of a full timing schedule for at least the north Wales part the tour? This is the first timing information I've been able to find yet.

Good to know. I've actually just had a proper look on thetrainline and found that it does allow unlimited zone 1-6 travel. Thanks again!

    Liverpool to London Day Travelcard

Hi, This week I purchased and today picked up a Saturday Day Travelcard to travel from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston next month. I purchased this ticket as it seemed to be advertised for use with the London Underground Zones 1-6, as specified on the ticket. But I'm confused, will I...

Evening all, On a day out to Shrewsbury today and whilst waiting for the train, I decided to check rail gen and found that there was a working from Bidston passing through Shrewsbury - so I decided to wait for it. I did manage to get a photo after it being almost 20 something minutes late, but...

    A 50, a Black 5 and The Pretendolino! (03/09/2011)

Apart from photos, I've actually never seen a Class 50 before. Great set of videos and photos. Where was this, if you dont mind me asking?

    Some recent shots

Brilliant set of photos. I quite like the one of the steam loco at New Street - all these photos are good in their own way.

    Buses not stopping

I remember when they didn't go through Old Swan, that was when they changed the service when it was for a short time the number 11. Then the service was withdrawn by Arriva and Cumfybus took over as the 139 which I think was the first Cumfybus service to run into Liverpool city centre. The...

    Buses not stopping

Waiting for the Cumfybus in Old Swan, Liverpool a few years ago now. Turned the corner, put my arm out, driver clearly saw me as he appeared to be laughing on the way past. I ask, what was that all about?

    Warrington Station 30-8-2011

Nice photos. I see you can walk down the new extended platform now. Looks like a good photo point as well.

NRM York & York Station 28-8-2011

The best ones are when people just stop and start having a good old chat to someone else right in front of what you're trying to take a photo of. Being into street photography, it happens quite a lot.

    Warrington Depot - 30-8-2011

Great set of photos. Seem to be a lot of sheds there. Everytime I visit that yard there's never anything there.

Haha! Lucky. It's a good day out though. If you're interested why not learn how to. It's a brilliant interest to have as well. You'll almost certainly need paitence though.

True! I did hang around for about 20-30 minutes, probably not helped by the fact that the school summer holiday was only in its second week when I visited.
