For the most part, Nafferton is mainly served by stopping trains on the mildly circuitous route between Bridlington and York via Hull. This is also the case for Wressle, albeit not so frequently.

Bridlington also has 3 platforms, with only 2 being through platforms.

Beverley is another station which was built to the design of architect George Townsend Andrews, and retains many original features including an overall roof.

Huddersfield is another station that will soon be electrified as part of the TransPennine Route Upgrade Project.

Just in case anyone needs to know, was in the area today and it's still not fixed. Replacement buses observed between Fitzalan Square and Halfway.

Whitehaven was also served by loco-hauled trains in the not-too-distant past, but is currently only served regularly by class 156 DMUs.

It could happen, and does occasionally, admittedly not regularly. I think the game has moved on enough to let it go now in any case.

Sandhills is also exclusively served by 3rd rail EMUs.

As I think we're stuck somewhere routinely only served by one class of train, and I'm not entirely sure on what regular freight movements we could use to move on we'll continue on the monthly test train... Class 37 and test train to Glasgow Central
