Your only guaranteed the offer. There is a waiting list for training dates that wont be starting this year. Maybe next year summer some training spots will become available

Hey guys, my friend at work who has a partner who works for Tfl in another capacity applied for the part time night tube job late last year. Because he is internal staff he's ahead of us externals. He starts his training in November! My guess is externals will start their training next year...

No offence or anything but people on this thread would love to even get a training date much less worry about training going over 12 weeks. That's an issue I would love to have right now Good luck

Spoke to HR at Tfl today and was told I'm number 64 in the talent pool list........Sadly, I don't think I'll get a training date this year! :( Anyone out there got any inspiring news or anything? Lol!!

I hope you are right but the least they could do is explain to us why the reason for the hold up, especially since we've been offered the roll. Where not asking for all the secrets but at least give us a reasonable explanation!

So Tfl have just got peoples hopes up for nothing??? Why have successful candidates on waiting lists if you have no positions to give them? Are they waiting for train operators to retire? Fall Ill? Maybe they don't have enough staff/trainers? And why go through another hire cycle if there are no...

can I ask you, what date was you offered the role? Just wanna know how long it takes from the offer to the medical?

Just a quick question........How long did you have to wait for your medical after you received the call that you have been offered the roll as a tube driver? It's been two weeks and I'm still waiting for my medical!
