I’m pretty sure in pre-launch versions of the website there were photos of Classics set up as solos, plus the wording reflected this. Maybe there’s a cached version somewhere. This feels like a recent cost cutting exercise...

Because the bog/shower are positioned between the sleeping compartments then the classic rooms are always going to be at least a sleeping compartment away from a WC. If you’re in a club room then you are right next to your own WC obviously plus will get the noise from next door’s as well.

I was delighted to get the refurbished unit on a trip from Dundee to Edinburgh on Monday. A pleasant surprise I wasn’t expecting Very clean, bright and modern and comfortable. Had a look in the First Class section and that looked good too - though no one sat in there.
