I understand speed restrictions, but cancelling 4 services in a row is not that. And it's raining and a bit windy. Certainly nowhere near severe. A yellow warning. The 17:25 Aberdeen to Inverness will be an absolute joke and I bet many won't be able to get on and have to wait another hour...

Went in to Aberdeen at lunch time and all services running as normal. Now all local services between Aberdeen and Inverurie and Montrose are cancelled until 8pm leaving huge gaps and lots of people with no trains. The weather situation has been known about for a couple of days, so why wait...

That's a horrific waste of money. Surely the press should be all over this given the massive amount of publicity they got on release. If they fully belonged to First then fine but there's a lot of public money gone in to them.

As I said all that time ago the X27 was a complete waste of fuel. Running it every 15 minutes with literally no customers was money down the drain. It never made sense to me as an Aberdeen and Dyce resident. Either it was put in place to try and compete with Stagecoach or someone from Glasgow...

Companies used to provide train tickets to Aberdeen, overnight accommodation and then taxi to the airport/heliport. Those days are long gone now.

From looking at the reg plates of the cars in the car park, a good lot seem to be from outwith the Grampian Region

Well exactly, that's why so many people use it for free parking being near the airport and commuters actually using the train can't get a space.
