    Doing this route clockwise from Manchester Piccadilly on July 3. Unfortunately its a bus service between Blaenau and Llandudno Junction until probably the end of July. Definitely can use railcards. We are travelling on the 7.30 from Piccadilly and returning on the 18.53 from Llandudno Junction...

    Thanks for the reply. I do wander about the country a bit on holidays, usually by rail and also make quite a few long distance rail trips each year purely for spotting. With that in mind I think I will go for the P5 combined.
