Super You Tube drone footage of Winslow Station from Wandering Northerner. No sign of upper deck car park construction yet. It looks as if the housing expansion of Winslow town has started over the road from the station.

More from Wandering Northerner. Verney to Winslow Station...
Thanks for those great pics work-traveller and for the confirmation The Planner. Therefore the planning for an additional platform at Aylesbury Parkway indicates there will be freight and passenger trains using the Claydon Curve.
Eventually.
Not the best quality You Tube drone action from DronePix but better than nothing. Winslow Station. Perhaps the focus on the waste area because it is going to be a car park?
Yep, but its an expensive waste of taxpayers money to be proved correct. Should never have been constructed Birmingham to London first. Birmingham to Manchester and Birmingham to Leeds, via the sensible route (not Toton) first.
Thanks for the replies. I fully appreciate the time it will take to train staff and launch, probably at scheduled timetable change, a passenger service on the new route. However if the line is fully commissioned and ready to go during 2024 would the line be used for freight before passenger...
Great pics above. Will we see freight trains on EWR before passenger? Looks like EWR construction Bicester to Bletchley will be completed by end of June 24?
Probably the last relevant HS2 meets EWR video from Mickey 2 Cams Have a drive under the EWR over bridge.
New update from NWP Exploring. Not the best quality drone pics, but good enough to see the great progress of EWR through the HS2 site. Road bridge over old Calvert Station about to be demolished apparently. I think the two flooded sections show the HS2 line and the Aylesbury line next to it.
Looks like rapid and substantial progress being made at the EWR/HS2 intersection at Calvert. Looks as if track will soon be laid on the EWR bridge over HS2. Thanks to Micky2Cams on You Tube.
..... until they get into power. Previous socialist governments have inherited fairly decent economies, the next one inherits an economy which is on the rocks.
Mostly snippets of EWR, however lots of action at Calvert EWR and HS2 intersection, the completion of which is vital for EWR timetable.
Thanks to Micky2Cams
Looks to be good progress by HS2 at the Calvert EWR intersection. HS2 plant and machinery can use the HS2 track bed under the EWR bridge? Please avoid any bridge strikes. Re PMs photos, will the Aylesbury line run on top of that embankment?
"But another point shown in the photos is that the embankment east of the HS2 bridge appears relatively complete. So I don’t agree with the view posted earlier that EWR will be delayed by outstanding embankment works".
But the other embankment is not? I think the suggestion the site (site)...
"Unless someone puts down an early day motion it wont be debated and there are more important matters concerning the country."
Yes, probably be a debate about Gary Lineker.
So this is all as clear as mud. Does anyone have any idea when/if this will be debated in the Commons? Or when a clarification document will be produced. I have no doubt Bill Cash and Michael Fabricant will be pushing for a debate and clarity on all of this.
Thanks, That is the impression I was under, essentially EWR just lay the track and do S&T on the bed prepared by HS2. The Aylsebury spur section junction will also be prepared by HS2 and no doubt the small section of junction track and out of service S&T done by EWR. You can clearly see...
Thanks, but embankments and associated works are not. I was under the impression HS2 were responsible for construction of part of EWR at this complex intersection? Having two sets of construction teams working on different projects at the same site would not seem a good idea?
