    Should luggage racks on trains be designed more like those on aircraft?

    A few years ago a lot of people were hurt by "flying luggage" stored in the overhead "bins" on aircraft when they crashed or had a rough landing ( or even bad turbulance) . As a result the latches on the bins were reinforced. OK a train isn't the same as a plane, but as overhead luggage racks...
