I think it was the big (infamous) May 2018 timetable change - certainly the 1721 Eastbourne service was cut back to Lewes at that time.

What will happen to the guards on these 313s when they move over to 377 operation? Are they ok with converting to OBS's as most will no longer have any booked work as conductor (the top link-171-trained guards excepted)

Surely terminating services at East Croydon won't save a diagram? The location of the passing loops on the single track would dictate the timetable and as trains pass at Sanderstead (and Ashurst) wouldn't there just be a 171 sitting in East Croydon for 50 minutes? Why not run to London Bridge?

I'd have thought that for Paddington and Liverpool Street at least it would make sense to integrate the two stations as some services may depart from the legacy platforms in peak hours and/or disruption.

Very disappointed at the poor provision of Southern's 'Coastway' services. Especially in the summer months, these trains will be rammed. At least restore the West Worthing shuttles.
