Don't waste your money on this!!!! If you passed your MMI you can pass your DMI! The MMI is significantly harder than the DMI. Research the company, and the rest is like any other job interview, why you, why the job, why them!

DMI's are a tricky one on here, its quite personal - questions you get asked are based on the personality questionnaire you answer before the DMI, so people can't really help you with them, though they are loosely based on questions similar to the MMI. Other than that, research MTR Crossrail...

You'll get the email regarding your first day about a week before you start.... You know MTR now, like to keep people hanging around for info lol

Set an alert up on the recruitment page to alert you of the next time they're recruiting. Sorry you missed it...

Where did you get that info? Seems unlikely but this is something that should surely be challenged if it is true as it's unfair. Goes against equal opportunities surely? Why say you can apply again in so many months if that's not actually the case. Also, your application with one company...

I'm currently working my way through the training process. The application process can take about 6 months to up to a year. Then you may be placed in a talent pool and so not even offered the role immediately. I believe this round of applications is for a pool, not to start until late this year...

I'd just like to say, from someone who's been through the process twice (failed 1st MMI, successful second time) that the amount of time you wait for news of success for the online assessments really doesn't mean you've done better then others or whether you're successful or not. Once you start...

MTR Crossrail seem to have a thing, where after they've offered you the job and you've signed the contract, they go really quiet on you... This is especially worrying when it's getting near to the time you need to hand in your notice but you don't know whether you've passed security clearance or...

@cseasy1984 is correct, they're looking for more important things than weight. But to answer your question, indeed I have.

You'll still be in the same training group though, probably for quite a while as Abbey Wood isn't open yet :D

Well.. .Without wanting to offend anyone, there's quite a few people who I'm sure aren't under 33 on the BMI working for MTR Crossrail already, including some who are still training so are 'new.' But what do I know... Just saying what I see

MTR Crossrail Trainee Driver (Multiple Locations)

I really wouldn't worry yourself about that. Also, bmi calculators have always stated I'm overweight/obese because I have more muscle mass than the norm, so it's bull****. They're not checking to see how big you are (appearance wise) it's just part of a standard health assessment. In fact, I...

No probs, on a full 4 weeks (we get paid every 4 weeks) it's about £1725. Many are in the same boat, it's hard but a sacrifice only for a precise year

Group sizes are 10 per group. And you're generally with people from the same depot as you, or at least in roughly the same area.

If you're travelling on your TOCs service then yes, of course you'd get free travel from day one. You may also get free travel with another TOC if they share the same routes. If you're awaiting an oyster card or need to travel on a completely different route to what your TOC provide then it's a...

    (Answered) Starting Training

The TOC I work for didn't give any travel until about 3 weeks into training, no temporary, nothing. So I wouldn't expect to receive anything on the first day to be on the safe side. I'd dress smart, no jacket, but shirt and tie. Definitely no jeans and trainers. We all received our uniform on...
