The medical is just my a case of turning up is it? “No stress or pressure”. Tell that to those who have had previously unknown issues found and had struggles getting through or even worse, failed the medical. Nobody, in my opinion, should be taking any of the process for granted at all.

I wish you were right.....there are around 20 people, I am reliably informed, or thereabouts who will have been trained for Perth alone by the year end just since August. I am in a pool for Perth/Dundee and cannot for the life of me understand why if they are still going through initial stage...

Seems to me that there are people who are currently sitting in a pool for Perth/Dundee, yet SR are still doing initial assessments and DMI’s for the same area. Something fishy going on here me thinks.....

Couple months ago now. Passed the DMI but told too many passes and not enough jobs so put in a holding pool....

I’m not sure they know what’s going on. I applied for Perth/Dundee role and my application has that on it....and I’m in a pool now having passed managers interview but being one of apparently several in same position as there aren’t enough vacancies. All seems very bizarre.....
